Title for Merits
For the great personal contribution into the industry development and conscientious work of many years Viñtor Khristenko, Minister of Industry and Power Engineering of the Russian Federation, gave the order to confer the rank of «Honorary Aero-Engine Builder» to Nickolai Koksharov, Senior Deputy General Director of General Designer, Director of Experimental Design Bureau of Aviadvigatel OJSC.
Nikolay L. Koksharov began his work activity in 1970 at Aviadvigatel OJSC as a design engineer. For 36 years, which were devoted to the favorite work, Nickolai Leonidovich has successfully passed over all stages of design work, became the direct participant of the development and launching into production variable jet nozzles of aero-engine for MiG-31 fighter-interceptor, Su-47 "Berkut" aircraft, as well as the line of the complex components of PS-90A aero-engine of gas turbine gensets for Power generation facilities, introduction of polymeric composite material during the modernization of the noise-attenuation system and etc.
Under the direction of Nickolai L. Koksharov, the Contracts with Chinese companies were realized. Especially, variable jet nozzles were developed, produced and supplied. Low-pressure compressor and low-pressure turbine were also developed for Chinese aero-engine, two power turbines rated at 17.5 MW were developed and produced.
Niñkolai Leonidovich managed to create the group of like-minded persons, who are able to solve the most complicated technical tasks aimed at developing and launching into serial production of advanced developments of the Design Bureau at Perm Motors Group Companies.
Services of Nickolai Leonidovich Koksharov in scientific-design effort are estimated at his true worth. He is rewarded by rank « Quality Promoter of Ministry of Aerospace Industry», has 30 inventor's certificates and patents for different inventions and has the rank of « Honored Designer of Russian Federation».
