PERM GAS TURBINES ARE SHIPPED TO TURKEY

In January 2007 Perm Engine Company shipped the last two of three GTU-16P gas turbines that will be operated in Sivas Compressor Station in Turkey.

The Contract for the delivery of gas turbines was signed by Perm Motors Group in July 2006. The first 16 MW gas turbine was dispatched late in 2006.

Gas pumping packages produced by Sumy Scientific and Production Amalgamation named after Frunze and based on Perm GTU-16P gas turbines that are used as drives will contribute to higher pressure of natural gas in main gas pipeline "Imranli-Kayseri", which supplies gas from Iran to the countries of West Europe.

Wide variety in the complete set of equipment used in Perm gas turbines make them commonality-based and allow using not only in gas pumping packages produced by Ukraine but in many other types of gas pumping trains, both of the Russian and foreign origin. This expands the possibilities of Perm engine builders allowing them to supply gas turbine machinery both to Russian and foreign oil & gas producing companies.

For reference:

As of January 1, 2007 Perm Motors Group manufactured and shipped 414 gas turbines and power plants rated at 2.5 - 25 MW to customers. 239 gas turbines from those mentioned above are used as mechanical drives of gas pumping packages.
