Perm Motors Group day in Perm State Technical University
February 7 at Perm State Technical University (PSTU) an agreement between PSTU and Perm Motors Group was signed and the best students of the aeroengines course were awarded the grants named after A.D. Shvetsov and P.A. Soloviov.
At the joint press-conference Mr. Alexander Inozemtsev, General Director of Perm Motors Group, and Mr. Vasily Petrov, the head of PSTU, spoke on more active cooperation of the University and the enterprise.
The signing of the Agreement between Perm Motors Group and PSTU became the key point of the day. The Agreement on cooperation states active co-work of the University and the enterprise in such fields as targeted training of higher education specialists for further placing in a job at any Group company, the enterprise participation in highly qualified specialists (post-graduates and doctors of Philosophy) education based on agreements on scientific-research and experimental-design tasks to be performed by them for the enterprise.
According to Mr. Inozemtsev, such cooperation is going to have direct influence on the Perm Motors Group further development perspectives, because besides engineers-aircraft designers the enterprise desperately needs other qualified technicians, market researchers and managers. "Due to the growing production volumes and future facilities re-equipment the Group enterprises will demand highly professional technicians who will operate up-to-date equipment as well as young modern-minded production managers", says Mr. Inozemtsev.
Mr. Petrov in his speech thanked Perm Motors Group for the support of PSTU and underlined that the agreement signed will put the cooperation of the University and Perm Motors Group onto a higher level and let everybody better understand what changes are to be brought into modern educational programs.
Also under the Agreement Perm Motors Group will further take significant part in the University material and technical resources renewal.
After the press-conference the PSTU aerospace and mechanical-technological faculties' students and lecturers had a meeting with the Perm Motors Group top managers in the assembly hall of the University head building. At the meeting during the 5th annual ceremony of rewarding the best 5-year students taking course of aeroengines were awarded the grants named after A.D. Shvetsov and P.A. Soloviov (founders of the Perm engine building).
It were the students Aleksei Pestov and Stanislav Sendjurev, who got this year grants in the amount of 3000 rubles to be paid every month. At the current moment these students are working on probation at Aviadvigatel OJSC.
