Perm Motors presented advances gas turbine gensets in Minsk

Perm Motors Group (Perm Motors) participated in the 9th International Exhibition (Energy and Natural Resources Conservation) (Minsk) held on May 11-14, 2005. Large Belarus companies showed a keen interest in "Ural"-Series gas turbine gensets produced in series by Perm Motors. According to experts, these gas turbine gensets meet the goals and objectives of the National Power Development Programs in all respects.

It was the first time when the Exhibition was conducted as part of Belarus Industrial Forum and Symposium "Technologies - Equipment - Quality". The forum dedicated to Belarus economy efficiency improvement through introduction of energy and natural resources conservation technologies was attended by more than 150 companies from 10 countries.

The special republican Program that is currently underway envisions 25%-increase of heat and power production through the use of local fuels and alternative energy sources by 2012.

In the course of the Exhibition, a special interest in Perm Motors "plug-and-play" gas turbine gensets was expressed by the representatives of such Belarus unitary companies as "Mogilevenergo", "Minskenergo", "Grodnoenergo", "Gomelenergo" and others.

The interest of Belarus industrialists in Perm Motors products is explained by a high efficiency of fuel heat utilization (85%) achievable with Perm gas turbines in gas turbine CHP plants. Besides, Perm "Ural"-Series gas turbine gensets do in all respects meet the objectives of companies' transition to self-provision of power (including conversion of existing boiler plants to mini CHP plants) set forth in the Decree of Belarus Council of Ministers "On additional measures for cost-effective and efficient use of fuel-an-power sources".
