The sponsoring of “Education and Career” Exhibition has become the good tradition of PERM MOTORS

On March 22, 2005 the traditional exhibition of educational institutions and job vacancies named "Education and Career" was closed. It was held in "Perm Fair" Exhibition Center, Perm, Russia. For three year already PERM MOTORS GROUP has acted as the general sponsor of such a remarkable event.

Traditionally PERM MOTORS exposition was represented by the companies and enterprises of PERM MOTORS GROUP and by specialized educational institutions that prepare specialists for these companies and enterprises. These are Professional Lyceum # 1, Perm Aviation Technical School named after A.D. Shvetsov, Aviation Engines Department of the Perm Technical Institute. As the result of the exhibition all of these institutions were awarded Diploma "For Devotion to Traditions of Interrelation of Educational Institutions and Enterprises in Continuous Education and Career Growth of Skilled Professionals".

During the exhibition PERM MOTORS GROUP conducted, at its exposition, the competitions for schoolchildren and students, presentations of PERM MOTORS GROUP companies and enterprises. More than 22 thousand persons visited PERM MOTORS GROUP exposition.

As PERM MOTORS GROUP Director for Personnel and PR, Tatiana Snitko, said at the opening of the exhibition "Today many words are told about the rise in the social liability of business and I would like to highlight that the support of education and science for us is not a simple tribute to vogue but is the most important component of our business strategy, since the best engines in the world may be created only by those specialists, who are the best in the world".

PERM MOTORS GROUP General Director, Alexander Inozemtsev, thinks that " ...the profession of an engineer has no pronounced attributes and promises of momentary financial welfare. An engineering good luck, unlike a bright "lottery fate", requires serious preparative work and persistent toil. If you choose the profession of an engineer, you should use all your brains, make continuous intellectual efforts and self-improvements".

The secret of preparation of highly skilled specialists for the companies and enterprises of PERM MOTORS GROUP lays in a unique program of continuous education based on the time-proven "school-high school-enterprise" scheme. The companies and enterprises of PERM MOTORS GROUP have developed some effective actions aimed at supporting recent graduates.

Aviadvigatel (the design bureau of the PERM MOTORS GROUP) has implemented a special program of working with the youths and in particular the business capabilities of young specialists are assessed every six months and according to the results of such assessments the salaries of new employees are advanced. For the last two years about one hundred graduates from Perm high schools and institutes have come to work with Aviadvigatel.

Young specialists have a possibility to visit regularly the MAKS International Aero Show usually held in Moscow. In June of this year ten young specialists currently working at the companies of PERM MOTORS GROUP will visit the largest International Aerospace Show in Le Bourget.
