Once again Perm Gas Turbines confirmed its reliability
At the beginning of July, 2009 the high time PS-90GP-1 engine used in GTU-12PG gas turbine manufactured by OJSC Perm Engine Company accumulated 50,000 hours since the beginning of operation at OJSC Surgutneftegaz's CS-42 Fedorovskaya compressor station (Fedorovskoe oil-gas condensate field, ÕÌÀÎ). After the first major overhaul this engine has already accumulated 26500 hours, assuming that in accordance with PS-90GP-1 specifications its overhaul life makes 25,000 hours.
The high time PS-90GP-1 engine had been delivered to OJSC Surgutneftegaz in June, 2001 and major overhaul was held in 2005. At present time GTU-12PG gas turbines fleet of OJSC Surgutneftegaz numbers 19 units, 6 GTU(s) of them are applied to drive GPA(s) (gas pumping packages) and 13 of them are applied to drive GTES(es) (gas turbine generator sets). Besides in order to provide GPA's and GTES's uninterrupted operation OJSC Surgutneftegaz has additionally purchased 4 stand-by PS-90GP-1 engines.
High reliability performances of Perm manufactured gas turbines are provided first of all due to the tight cooperation of product designer - OJSC Aviadvigatel, manufacturer - OJSC Perm Engine Company and operating organizations. For many years in OJSC Perm Engine Company organization there functions the Department of customer support which technicians working directly with operators solve all the technical problems at breakneck speed.

As of 08.07.2009 OJSC Perm Engine Company has manufactured 103 GTU-12P gas turbines (including stand-by PS-90GP-1 engines). The total high time of GTU-12P fleet since the beginning of operation exceeded 1,700,000 hours.
