The results of MAKS-2009 airshow reaffirmed that the aircrafts powered by Perm engines of PS-90A family are still sought-for. One of the most important contracts was concluded between OJSC "Ilyushin Finance Co." and "Atlant-Souz" airline. Under terms of the contract in 2011-2015 the airline will get 15 Tu-204SM aircrafts powered by Perm PS-90A2 engines.
"Avistar-TU" airline concluded a contract of delivery of two Tu-204S cargo aircrafts with PS-90A engines in 2009-2010 with OJSC "Ilyushin Finance Co.".
On the third day of the airshow a contract of delivery of the second Tu-204ON aircraft with PS-90A engines in 2011 was concluded between OJSC "S.P. Gorbunov KAPO" and OJSC "Concern VEGA". This modification of the aircraft was developed within the framework of international project "Open Sky" for carrying out the survey inspection flights in the air area of the member-countries of this project.
In the course of the meetings during MAKS-2009 airshow an agreement was reached about concluding the contract of delivery of two Tu-204 aircrafts in 2010 and two Il-96PU aircrafts in 2011-2012 between United Aircraft Building Corporation and Presidential Property Management Department. Besides "Volga-Dnieper" airline confirmed its intension to purchase three Il-76TD-90VD aircrafts. The first aircraft should be delivered in the end of 2009, the second and the third in 2010-2011.
Commander-in-Chief of the Air Forces Colonel General Alexander Zelin made an optimistic declaration for Perm Motors Group. According to Zelin at the moment at Ulyanovsk's aircraft building "Avistar-SP" plant the preproduction of Il-476 cargo aircrafts finishes and the realization of Il-476 aircrafts with Perm PS-90A-76 engines purchasing program for Air Forces should start in 2011.
Among the participants of the airshow the advanced development of Perm engine-manufacturers - new generation aero-engines family for short and medium range aircrafts - aroused great interest. In the course of the presentation of this project Andrei Reus, OJSC "OPK "Oboronprom" general director once again stated that this direction is of higher-priority for the corporation and that the base PD-14 engine will be installed at domestic MS-21 aircraft.
Michael Dichescul, OJSC "Perm Engine Company" managing director:
The results of MAKS-2009 show that our enterprise stands firmly on its feet and our production is sought-for. Despite the financial crisis airlines think of their next steps forward and order domestic aircrafts. At the moment OJSC "Perm Engine Company" is provided with orders till the year 2011.
